Andrew Ram joins the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps athletic department as an assistant on the strength and condition staff in the fall of 2025.
Ram comes to Claremont after serving as the graduate assistant in the strength and conditioning department at Southern Connecticut State University. While there, he developed and implemented comprehensive injury prevention programs, as well as sport-specific strength and conditioning regimens tailored to team and individual needs. He also educated athletes on proper nutrition and recovery techniques to support peak performance.
Following his stint with Southern Connecticut, Ram has served an internship with the football team at Ridgefield High School in Ridgefield, Connecticut since January. During his time, he assisted in the planning and execution of speed, strength and conditioning sessions ot enhance athletic performance, and led athletes through dynamic warm-ups and recovery-focused cool-downs.
Ram's tenure at Ridgefield also included serving as an assistant throws coach with the track and field program. He also worked as a flexologist at StretchLab.
Ram competed in the pole vault at the Division I level at Central Connecticut State University, where he graduated in 2022 with a bachelor's degree in exercise science. He earned his master's in human performance at Southern Connecticut in December of 2024.
