Set a New Mexico Athletics Association state record for strikeouts in a career with 387, including 126 as a senior, capped off by 15 in the state championship game ... Tallied a 1.75 career ERA and a 29-7 record, with an 0.94 ERA his senior year ... Two-time state champion ... Batted .536 as a senior with a .679 on-base percentage.
